Rainforests safely store billions of tonnes of carbon, helping to mitigate climate change and stabilise global weather patterns. Rainforests are also home to
50% of the world’s species
– many of which are critically endangered – and thousands of indigenous communities who rely on the forests for their food, water and economic prosperity. In short, they are one of the most important natural resources on Earth, and their long-term protection is absolutely
vital for our survival.
CuleM is excited to be working with ActionAid as we focus on improving the lives of People across the world. ActionAid is an international humanitarian charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. ActionAid seeks to change the world for women and girls. They are ending violence and fighting poverty so that all women, everywhere, can create the future they want.
Harriet (seen right)
is from Kampala, Uganda. She received support from an ActionAid women's shelter after surviving years of domestic violence, including training in how to make reusable sanitary pads. Since then, she has started her own business and become a national trainer. She’s trained over 22,000 girls in how to make their own reusable sanitary pads.
Many girls don’t have access to safe, hygienic, sanitary products causing them to miss multiple days of school. Missing out on an education can have a devastating impact on a girl’s life as she becomes more vulnerable to violence.
Our donations will support women like Harriet to make an incredible difference in their community.
To focus on cleaner water, CuleM Watches is a supporter of Ocean Generation, an organisation whose goal is to
stop plastic reaching the oceans
within a generation.
Ocean Generation have been experts on plastic pollution for a decade in their previous guise of Plastic Oceans UK. Their award-winning documentary

“one of the most important films of our time”
and has ignited mass consumer awareness.
Ocean Generation creates education, science and sustainability programmes which engage multiple audiences on the appropriate use and value of plastics, as they commit to forging long-lasting change.

CuleM (pronounced Q-Lem) produces top-grade quality Swiss-made travel watches at fair prices. Since we launched our debut collection in 2019, we have been lucky enough to receive fantastic reviews from GQ, The Telegraph, Watch Pro, ABlogToWatch, to name but a few.

Our founder, Matthew Cule, is an avid traveller and wanted to create a collection of watches that featured unique designs, inspired by the world around us. On founding CuleM, Matthew and the team also wanted to help in a small way to protect the planet that inspired our collections.
That’s why every sale helps us to make donations to our charity partners with whom we were able to plant 16,000 trees in the CuleM forest in Madagascar and protect over 2.5 million square metres of rainforest.
In addition, for our new Skyline GMT collection we wanted to make a positive impact locally and have pledged to make donations to GrowNYC in New York City, and London based Blueprint for All.
